The project

As Director of Brand Development at CoolEvents, I led the visual direction of seven brands, from initial concepts through visual development and design execution: Foam Glow, Blacklight Run, Blacklight Slide, Blacklight Wars, Terrain Race, Bubble Run, and Ignite Hope.

My role
Director of Brand Development, CoolEvents; visual direction for seven brands, concept development, and design execution
Scope of work
  • Visual direction for seven event brands
  • Visual identities and brand applications
  • Creative direction
  • Website design and implementation
  • Email and digital campaign design
  • Event merchandise and promotional materials

The context

CoolEvents brought multiple event experiences under one company. Alongside the seven brand studies, the archive documents corporate communications, a Terrain Relay campaign and related internal design work.

Design approach

The work holds two scales together: distinct event identities and a recognizable corporate family. A holiday composition brings the event marks into one structured layout; the company lockup provides a calmer point of reference. Terrain Relay adds a full promotional narrative explaining the team experience before its registration offer.

The brand family

Seven distinct experiences.
One creative practice.
