The project

As Director of Brand Development at CoolEvents, I led the visual direction of Foam Glow, from concept development through design execution. Its website brings the fluorescent atmosphere of the event to the screen.

My role
Director of Brand Development, CoolEvents; visual direction, concept development, and design execution
Scope of work
  • Visual concepts and creative direction
  • Logo and visual-identity applications
  • Website design and implementation
  • Digital campaign layouts

The context

Foam Glow’s nighttime experience had to remain recognizable from the first promotion to the start line. The production archive connects the website and digital advertising to city-specific flyers and large-format event signage.

Design approach

A green monogram and almost-black ground give the identity a clear center. Campaign layouts bring in illuminated crowds to show the experience; print pieces organize dates, location and registration around the same mark. At the event, the system simplifies to oversized start and finish messages.
